    Serious Business

If I would tell you about my suffering
That story would scare you and make you sad

But there is no reason for sadness
For telling is how we recognize the value

Of beauty so generous, so simple
That we do not notice it

Busy with the ugliness of the expensive success
We forget the easiness of free beauty

Lying sad right around the corner
    Only an instant removed

    Unnoticed and squandered
